Sister Sedusa Poly Tishun
Founder and Abbess
On a brisk spring night, an hour past the witch’s bell, a bun composed of good Southern cooking, AquaNet hairspray, and 80s cartoons was pulled from the oven. The name bestowed upon the bun at this time is irrelevant, but you may refer to it as Sedusa.
Sedusa spent its early years playing with its close friends, Barbie and G.I. Joe. As it grew, the bun was carted all across the southern US, from the hills echoing with the sounds of banjos in Alabama to the mountains of Virginia that smelled of dog food. One day, as Sedusa wondered what to do with itself, it heard the call of The Federal City, Washington, D.C.!
With visions of being slathered in honey butter, it packed up what few belongings it possessed and headed for the big city.
Though it would be a few years later that the bun would encounter The Sisters, which can only be described as muffins dressed as cupcakes and covered with sugar crystals. It was here that the little bun Sedusa found kindred spirits, and it longed to dance their magic dance.
So Sedusa, along with fellow buns Tearyn and Allie, founded The D.C. Sisters, Abbey of Magnificent Intentions.
