Guard Marquis de Bod
Marquis (he/him) first learned of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in 2013 while living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In DC, he became much more involved in social justice activism by writing letters, calling local government and attending protests advocating for the marginalized. As a nonbinary and bisexual person, he knew he wanted to center his activism squarely in the QUILTBAG (aka LGBTQUAI) community. He also loved camp, putting on a show and being ridiculous for a cause. What better troupe than a bunch of radical drag nuns?
